LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT
PROFESSIONALLY EMBRACE CHANGE

SHORT TERM FIXES

It is a very normal organisational knee-jerk reaction to confront changes in the marketplace or operational workplace environment with a managerial quick fix or short term solution. LSI can provide a capability to support Logistics Management strategies with short term solutions as required. However, it should be noted that quick fixes are not the preferred service option for the LSI consultant.

"This reactive style responds to each problem in the organisation as if it were an isolated phenomenon. Instead of preventing fires, it's always fighting fires. Because it favours the quick fix over the long term solution, it may
not be fixing the right thing at all. Because there isn't any process in place that allows the organisation
to anticipate the need for change before the crisis breaks, it is always one step behind the times."

  - Ralph Kilmann

LONG TERM SOLUTIONS:

The only constant LSI has observed in the security and safety industry over the last half decade is the familiar phenomenon of constant change itself. As a direct result of this observation, the preferred LSI service policy for supporting organisational Logistics Management strategies is to provide long term solutions. This enables managers, supervisors and the working body to more productively embrace the inescapable phenomenon of change. Such strategies are often difficult to identify internally amidst the perceived chaos of change. As an independent third party supporting an organisation in the dynamic process of managing change, LSI can provide proactive security and safety strategies for the long term, through ongoing Cultural Intelligence.

CULTURAL INTELLIGENCE:

This is the process of independently acquiring the cultural and environmental intelligence needed to facilitate proactive, long term security and safety strategies. Discretely gathering Cultural Intelligence enables LSI to better support the client, particuarly in developing Logistics Management strategies that are flexible enough to adapt to the constantly evolving marketplace or workplace environment.
